After finishing her routine on the uneven parallel bars in the Class 2A individual state meet Saturday, Trollen jumped excitedly into the arms of her coach, Chris Muras, and hung on tightly. After a season spent struggling to perfect the routine, she and everyone close to her knew she had finally done it. On the biggest stage of the season, no less. Already among the leaders for the all-around title, Trollen said her effort on the bars — her next-to-last event of the meet — earned her a score of 9.
